Mike Jackson

Mike Jackson is the Managing Partner at Earthshot Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Prior to his current leadership role, he served as an investor at Initialized Capital and gained operational experience working within multiple technology startups. The Stanford University graduate currently oversees a portfolio of more than 20 companies, directing his investment strategy toward seed and Series A rounds within the clean energy and sustainability sectors. In March 2025, Jackson led a $15 million Series A funding round for a carbon capture enterprise, following the October 2024 publication of his industry whitepaper, the "Climate Tech Playbook." Additionally, he expanded his reach by joining the UN Climate Tech Initiative as an advisor in January 2026. His ongoing focus centers on financing deep tech climate innovation and scaling transformative environmental technologies.
