Mike Hurst

Mike Hurst is a Managing Partner at Madrona Venture Group, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Seattle, Washington. Before joining the $5 billion AUM firm in 2023, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at Outreach, a revenue orchestration platform that achieved unicorn valuation status prior to its acquisition by Vista Equity. His earlier operational background includes executive leadership positions at technology startups such as Offerpop, and he holds a Master of Science in Management, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership from Stanford GSB. As an active venture investor, Hurst has backed more than 20 companies across the technology ecosystem, recently leading a Q1 2025 investment round in the artificial intelligence sales platform Overjet.
