Mike Hirshland

Mike Hirshland is the Co-Founder and Partner at Resolute Ventures, a bi-coastal seed-stage venture capital firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Before establishing Resolute Ventures, he spent over 17 years as an early-stage technology investor and served as a Partner at Polaris Venture Partners, where he notably created the startup incubator Dogpatch Labs. During his extensive venture capital career, Hirshland has directed initial funding rounds into several prominent internet and technology companies, including Automattic, Quantcast, BarkBox, and KISSmetrics. His academic background includes a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and an A.B. magna cum laude in American Government and Politics from Harvard University. His current investment strategy primarily focuses on providing seed-stage capital to internet startups across the United States while maintaining close, informal advisory relationships with early-stage founders.
