Mike Galgon is the CEO of Global Partnerships, an impact-first investment organization, and is based in Seattle, Washington. He previously co-founded the digital advertising firm aQuantive in 1997, serving as Chief Strategy Officer until its $6 billion acquisition by Microsoft in 2007, where he subsequently worked as Chief Advertising Strategist. In 2015, Galgon co-founded the startup studio Pioneer Square Labs, operating as a Managing Director and Venture Partner to help launch more than 30 venture-backed companies. Earlier in his career, he served as a U.S. Navy officer and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School following a bachelor's degree in economics from Duke University. After spending over two decades on the board of Global Partnerships, his current focus centers on leveraging his extensive venture capital and technology background to drive poverty alleviation initiatives across Latin America and Africa.
