Mike Annunziata

Mike Annunziata is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Farther Farms, a food technology startup based in Rochester, New York. He established the company in 2016 alongside co-founder Vipul Saran to commercialize a novel carbon dioxide pasteurization technology originally developed at Cornell University. Under his executive leadership, Farther Farms has scaled its proprietary food processing methods, securing a $16 million Series A funding round in 2021 and receiving grants from the National Science Foundation. Annunziata holds a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Digital Technology from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. His current focus centers on leveraging advanced processing technologies to build sustainable, energy-efficient supply chains within the global agricultural and food manufacturing sectors.
