Mihir Patil

Mihir Patil is the Co-Founder of Overstand Labs and is currently based in the United States. Founded in 2024 alongside Derrick Cheng, the four-employee startup participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2025 batch and develops artificial intelligence tools that allow enterprise leaders to analyze operational data across platforms like Slack and email using voice queries. Prior to launching this new venture, Patil spent nearly seven years at Palantir, where he successfully led privacy engineering initiatives and managed complex customer-facing projects. His earlier professional experience includes specialized technical engineering roles at Meta and LinkedIn, and he also currently serves as an adjunct computer science faculty member at New York University. Holding a joint electrical engineering and computer science degree from UC Berkeley, Patil focuses his career on building enterprise data analytics platforms and advancing corporate privacy engineering.
