Mickey Boodaei is an Israel-based cybersecurity entrepreneur and investor currently serving as the CEO of Transmit Security, a partner at Picture Capital, and a member of Cyberstarts VC. Under his leadership, Transmit Security raised $543 million in a June 2021 funding round that valued the identity orchestration company at $2.74 billion. Previously, he co-founded and served as CEO of Trusteer, an enterprise fraud prevention firm that was acquired by IBM for approximately $1 billion in 2013, and helped build Imperva alongside Shlomo Kramer. As an active angel investor and venture capitalist, Boodaei has backed numerous successful early-stage startups, including Aorato, which was acquired by Microsoft, and Lacoon, which was purchased by Check Point. His broader career focuses on founding, scaling, and financing enterprise cybersecurity platforms that address complex identity management and fraud prevention challenges.
