Michelle Doig

Michelle Doig is a Partner and Head of Corporate Development at Omega Funds, an international investment firm focused on life sciences. Before joining the firm in 2016, she served as Director of Corporate Finance at Third Rock Ventures and Principal of Corporate Finance at Abingworth. Earlier in her career, she worked as a life sciences investment banker at JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley. Over her 20-year career, she has executed more than 40 equity and convertible transactions, advising on mergers, acquisitions, and initial public offerings for biotech companies including Gilead, MedImmune, and Illumina. She holds an Honors degree in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Her current focus centers on structuring private placements and public equity financings to support the strategic growth of biotechnology enterprises.
