Michael Taus is a General Partner at 8VC based in San Francisco, California, where he focuses on early-stage enterprise software and infrastructure investments. Before joining 8VC in 2019, he served as a Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) from 2016 to 2019 and held earlier investment roles at Scale Venture Partners. Throughout his venture capital career, Taus has managed over $1 billion in investments and backed more than 20 technology companies, including unicorns such as Navan, Ironclad, and Hex. In early 2026, he became an anchor General Partner for 8VC's new $2 billion fund and recently led a $50 million Series A round in the artificial intelligence security sector.
