Michael Stephanblome

Michael Stephanblome is a London-based Venture Partner at Eight Roads Ventures, where he evaluates new early-stage investment opportunities across Europe and provides operational support to existing portfolio companies. Before transitioning to institutional venture capital, he spent more than eight years building and scaling technology businesses as both an operator and an entrepreneur. Trained as a digital marketer, he gained significant early operational experience working in entrepreneurial environments at major technology platforms including eBay and Gumtree. Following these corporate roles, he founded and built his own advertising technology company, Adjug, which he successfully scaled over multiple years before moving to the investment side. Today, his primary investment focus at Fidelity-backed Eight Roads centers on artificial intelligence, specifically targeting European startups that are capitalizing on recent technological advancements in distributed computing power and deep learning.
