Michael Spirito

Michael Spirito is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of 359 Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Palo Alto, California. Before spinning out 359 Capital with $300 million in assets under management across two funds, he co-founded Sapphire Sport within Sapphire Ventures and led digital media for 22 Fox Sports Regional Networks, including the YES Network prior to its $3.8 billion sale to 21st Century Fox. His earlier career includes venture capital roles at AOL Time Warner Ventures and investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston. As an investor, Spirito targets Seed to Series B rounds, backing consumer and media startups such as Overtime and beehiiv, where he recently participated in a $33 million funding round. His current focus remains on deploying capital into sports, media, and consumer-adjacent technologies that shape modern fan experiences.
