Michael Sidler

Dr. Michael Sidler is a General Partner and co-founder at Redalpine Venture Partners, based in Zürich, Switzerland. He began his career in academia, earning a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Zurich, before joining The Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant and Project Leader from 1998 to 2003. Following his tenure at the consulting firm across its Zürich and Toronto offices, he transitioned into corporate investments and mergers and acquisitions at the biotechnology company Prionics AG in 2003. In 2007, he co-founded Redalpine Venture Partners, and he currently serves as a Venture Building Advisor at Maximon while leading the venture capital chapter of SECA. Sidler focuses his investment strategy on early-stage science and technology startups, leveraging his life sciences expertise to drive innovation and job growth across the European venture ecosystem.
