Michael Schatzberg

Michael Schatzberg is the Founder and Managing Partner at Branded Hospitality Ventures and concurrently serves as the Managing Director for Branded Restaurants. He brings over 25 years of direct professional experience in restaurant ownership, management, and daily operations to his current institutional investment career. Prior to establishing his executive roles in venture capital, Schatzberg completed his higher education at Boston University before transitioning into the commercial hospitality sector. For more than five years, he has actively participated in hospitality technology investments, functioning as a strategic advisor and corporate board member for multiple emerging tech companies. In these capacities, he evaluates early-stage startups seeking to modernize food service operations. Schatzberg currently focuses on leveraging his extensive operational background to identify, fund, and scale innovative technology solutions within the broader restaurant and hospitality industry.
