Michael Sakowski

Michael Sakowski is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Crunched, an artificial intelligence software startup based in Bergen, Norway. He oversees daily operations for the financial technology platform, which automates advanced Excel modeling for finance professionals and recently secured approximately $5.5 million in seed funding from investors including Y Combinator. Prior to building Crunched, Sakowski worked as a consultant and junior manager in the Private Capital practice at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on commercial due diligence and portfolio company strategy. His earlier career included various analytical roles in investment banking and private equity, supported by a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Sakowski currently focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline complex financial analysis, due diligence, and investment strategy workflows for global financial organizations.
