Michael Ritto is a Copenhagen-based executive, investor, and current Chairman of the Board at MBO Group. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Nordisk Film, a major division of the Egmont Group, where he managed a workforce of over 1,000 employees and oversaw extensive film production and distribution operations across the Nordic region. Before his tenure in the film industry, Ritto co-founded the independent label Medley Records in 1978, which he successfully scaled and later sold to EMI Music, subsequently becoming the CEO of EMI Music Denmark. Transitioning into venture capital and private equity over the last two decades, he has directed millions in investments across more than 15 media, technology, and entertainment startups through his private holding company. His career focuses on scaling Scandinavian media enterprises and providing strategic governance to early-stage ventures.
