Michael Presser

Michael Presser is a Principal at The Social Entrepreneurs' Fund based in New York City, New York. Before assuming his current role, he worked in impact investing at Acumen Fund and held product and strategy positions at technology companies including Meetup and Return Path. At The Social Entrepreneurs' Fund, he manages early-stage investments across a portfolio of more than 20 companies, which includes notable exits such as the acquisition of Good Eggs. Presser, who holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University, recently led a March 2025 investment in a climate adaptation startup. He also maintains an active professional presence, publishing a January 2026 article on artificial intelligence for social good. His current focus centers on bridging for-profit innovation with nonprofit goals by funding early-stage enterprises in the climate technology, education, health, and workforce development sectors.
