Michael Phillips

Michael Phillips is the Co-Founder and CEO of Vena Medical, a medical technology company based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He established the neuro-interventional device startup during his final undergraduate academic year at the University of Waterloo, where he earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following his graduation, Phillips transitioned to a full-time executive role at the company and subsequently led its participation in prominent startup programs, specifically including the TMCx Accelerator and the Y Combinator Winter 2018 batch.
