Michael Nally

Michael Nally is a CEO-Partner at Flagship Pioneering and the Chief Executive Officer of Generate:Biomedicines. He joined the venture creation firm in 2021 to oversee the strategic direction and commercialization efforts of its generative biology portfolio company. Prior to this role, he spent nearly 18 years at Merck, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Human Health, as well as President of Global Vaccines, leading portfolio growth across multiple international product lines. His academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, a degree in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Middlebury College. As an executive, Nally currently focuses on driving pharmaceutical innovation and scaling biotechnology platforms at the intersection of global commercialization and human health.
