Michael Mason

Michael Mason is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ruvo, a Y Combinator-backed financial technology startup, and is currently based in San Diego, California. He brings over 12 years of professional experience in product and engineering leadership, specializing in building and scaling technical teams from the ground up. Prior to launching Ruvo, which was formerly known as Cacao Financial Holdings Ltd, Mason served as the Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Product and Engineering at Mercato. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Principal Software Engineer at ValoreBooks, where he focused on optimizing product roadmaps and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across various organizational levels. Today, his primary focus remains on the fintech sector, specifically expanding Ruvo as a global dollar application that supports both personal and business accounts throughout the Brazilian market.
