Michael Luciani

Michael Luciani is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Climate Capital and a Founding Partner at Juniper VC, currently based in Washington, D.C. Before transitioning to venture capital, he worked on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and founded The Tuesday Company, a political technology startup that raised $4 million before being acquired by Bloomberg Philanthropies. He also previously served as a venture partner at Social Impact Capital, eventually scaling the Climate Capital syndicate to a portfolio of over 250 companies. Through Juniper VC, Luciani currently manages a $10 million fund targeting synthetic biology and climate moonshots, achieving an early 12.4x exit and sourcing deals with firms like Colossal Biosciences. His current investment focus centers on scaling pre-seed and seed-stage deep technology, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology startups that are dedicated to decarbonizing heavy industries globally.
