Michael Lemm

Michael Lemm is a startup founder based in New York who previously served as the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Layup. Assuming his executive role in January 2023, he helped build the Y Combinator W23 batch enterprise software company, which publicly launched its innovative artificial intelligence platform in December 2024. The core B2B software product provides intuitive user guidance and workflow automation designed to seamlessly integrate with more than 170 business applications. Before transitioning into the technology sector, the Harvard Law School alumnus established a strong foundation in corporate law and institutional finance through professional positions at Kirkland & Ellis and JP Morgan. Outside of his professional focus on developing scalable artificial intelligence solutions, he enjoys watching Chicago sports, exploring local restaurants, and maintaining community involvement as a volunteer firefighter in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
