Michael Klinker

Michael Klinker is the Chief Technology Officer at REGENT, where he oversees the development of advanced flight controls and flight testing for electric seagliders. An aerospace engineer and avid pilot with a family background in the aviation field, he has designed and operated innovative vehicles throughout his career. Specifically, Klinker has built specialized control software for more than a dozen different aircraft. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in aircraft controls and autonomy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to his current executive position, he held engineering roles at several notable aerospace and technology organizations, including Airware, Raptor Maps, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and Aurora Flight Sciences. His professional background centers entirely on advancing aviation autonomy, flight control systems, and electric vertical takeoff and landing technologies for next-generation aerospace applications.
