Michael Jones

Michael Jones is a technology executive and entrepreneur with a specialized focus on geospatial technology, data analytics, and mapping software. He previously served as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of MaxMind, an industry provider of IP geolocation and online fraud detection services utilized by companies worldwide before its successor entity, DigitalEnvoy, took over operations. Prior to his tenure at MaxMind, Jones worked as a Vice President at Where 2 Technologies, a venture-backed mapping startup that played a foundational role in the early development of Google Maps following its strategic acquisition by Google in 2005. He completed his undergraduate education by earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon.
