Michael Heinrich

Michael Heinrich is the founder of an unannounced startup building a Layer 1 blockchain designed to serve as infrastructure for artificial intelligence. He previously founded and led Garten, a smart home automation company that participated in the Y Combinator S16 batch and later received backing from the Y Combinator Continuity Growth Fund F19 and the Stanford StartX accelerator. Earlier in his career, Heinrich held technical product management and software engineering roles at SAP and Microsoft, alongside consulting positions at Bain & Company and Bridgewater Associates. His academic background includes studies at Stanford University, Harvard University, and UC Berkeley, where he graduated summa cum laude as an Americorps Bonner Leader and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
