Michael Harte

Michael Harte is the Managing Partner at VentureIsrael, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Tel Aviv, Israel, with an international subsidiary in London. Prior to his transition into venture capital, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at both Santander UK and Barclays, where he directed operations, cybersecurity, data, and digital transformation initiatives. In October 2020, he helped launch a new VentureIsrael fund targeting deep-tech investments, and he subsequently joined United Ventures in January 2021 to lead their research efforts. Harte holds a Master of Science in Systems Management from New York University and serves as a Research Fellow with the MIT Centre for Information Systems Research. His current investment strategy focuses on Israel-based early-stage deep-tech startups developing enterprise software, artificial intelligence market research, next-generation banking platforms, and secure quantum communications.
