Michael Hansen is a Partner at EQT Ventures based in Stockholm, Sweden, where he focuses on early-stage technology investments across Europe. Before joining the venture capital firm in 2022, he co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Teclo Networks, a telecommunications company that was acquired by Ericsson in 2014. He began his career in telecom engineering after earning a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Hansen has completed over 20 investments across the Seed to Series B stages, recently leading a Q1 2025 funding round for the climate technology startup Corobotics. Beyond his direct investment activities, he hosts "The Nordic VC" podcast and regularly speaks on regional deep tech trends at industry events like Slush. His current focus remains on accelerating enterprise software, climate, and financial technology startups.
