Michael Goguen is the Founder and Managing Partner of Two Bear Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Whitefish, Montana. He established the firm in 2019 and currently manages over $275 million across two funds, leading investments such as a $22 million Series A round for the biotechnology company Inimmune. Prior to founding Two Bear Capital, Goguen spent nearly two decades as a partner at Sequoia Capital from 1996 to 2016. During his tenure, he sponsored 54 investments that generated more than $67 billion in total market value, including 26 exits exceeding $100 million. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University. His current investment focus centers on early-stage enterprises operating within biotechnology, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity.
