Michael FitzGerald is the co-founder and CEO of Submittable and the founder of Empire Health, operating primarily out of Missoula, Montana, USA. He launched Submittable as a business-to-business software-as-a-service platform designed to manage corporate social impact programs, successfully guiding the enterprise through the Y Combinator accelerator program during its Summer 2012 batch. Through his second venture, Empire Health, FitzGerald develops specialized health technology, specifically operating the Haipump.com digital platform to support colorectal cancer patients experiencing stage four liver involvement. Outside of his primary technology ventures, he is also a published author who wrote the fictional novel Radiant Days, which was released by the independent publishing house Counterpoint. His current professional focus centers on scaling enterprise software solutions for corporate social responsibility initiatives while simultaneously advancing targeted digital health platforms for complex oncology care.
