Michael Fertik

Michael Fertik is the Managing Director and Founder of Heroic Ventures and the CEO of Modelcode.ai, based in Palo Alto, California. Previously, he served as the Executive Chairman and Founder of Reputation.com, an online reputation management company that he established in 2006 and scaled with $67 million in venture capital funding. As a graduate of Harvard Law School, where he currently serves as a faculty member, Fertik holds more than ten patents and is a founding member of the World Economic Forum Agenda Council on the Future of the Internet. He has authored two published non-fiction books, including the 2015 bestseller The Reputation Economy, and previously founded additional technology startups including Sightglass Vision and WaveShift. His current investment focus centers on writing first-check investments for early-stage digital, defense, and life sciences startups across Silicon Valley and Israel.
