Michael Fenn

Michael Fenn is a Venture Partner at Iaso Ventures and Head of Investor Relations and External Innovation at Dewpoint Therapeutics in Greater Boston. He previously served as Director of Healthcare and Life Sciences at Harvard Innovation Labs, managing startup incubation and co-leading the planning of Life Lab Longwood at Harvard Medical School. Before Harvard, Fenn was an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Florida Institute of Technology, overseeing the spinout of two companies from his laboratory. One of these spinouts was the Y Combinator-backed machine learning diagnostics startup Luminist Labs, which was subsequently acquired. He holds a doctorate in biomedical engineering and a master of science degree in materials science from the University of Florida. Fenn focuses on early-stage venture capital, scientific due diligence, and translational innovation within the biotechnology and life sciences sectors.
