Michael Dyrlund

Michael Dyrlund is a Partner at Vækstfonden, Denmark's national growth fund, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Educated at Copenhagen Business School, he is a CFA charterholder who held various banking and advisory roles before initially joining Vækstfonden as an investment professional in 2015. Following his promotion to Partner in 2023, Dyrlund helps manage capital from a broader fund portfolio exceeding DKK 10 billion in assets under management, having participated in more than 50 venture and growth equity deals. His investment track record includes associations with prominent technology companies such as Unity Technologies and Trustpilot, where he recently led a first-quarter 2025 expansion round. In addition to speaking at the September 2025 TechBBQ conference, Dyrlund currently focuses on structuring venture funding for early-stage and growth-stage enterprises across the software-as-a-service, deep tech, life sciences, and cleantech sectors.
