Michael Collins

Michael Collins is currently a General Partner at Apex Ventures based in San Francisco, California. Prior to this role, he served as the Vice President of Product at Google, where he managed a $500 million portfolio of enterprise software applications and led a global team of 150 engineers. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs before transitioning into venture capital as a Principal at Sequoia Capital. Over the past decade, Collins has directed more than $200 million in early-stage funding across 40 technology startups, achieving five successful exits valued above $1 billion. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His current focus centers on identifying and scaling artificial intelligence platforms within the enterprise software sector.
