Michael Berman

Michael Berman is a medical device entrepreneur and investor based in Ithaca, New York, who currently serves as a board member and advisor for multiple healthcare startups. He previously served as the President of the Cardiology division at Boston Scientific, where he successfully managed a global business generating over $1 billion in annual revenue. Following his corporate tenure, he cofounded Velocimed, a cardiovascular device company that was acquired by St Jude Medical for $82.5 million in 2005. As an active angel investor, he has directed capital into more than a dozen early stage ventures, including BridgePoint Medical and ReCor Medical, guiding several to strategic exits. He earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University, and his current professional focus remains on advancing cardiovascular technologies through strategic investments and executive mentorship.
