Michael Baughan

Michael Baughan is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at AeroX and an investor at Aero X Ventures, based in the Winston-Salem area of North Carolina. He previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of B/E Aerospace from 2005 to 2011, where he managed a workforce of over 6,500 employees and scaled the manufacturer into a multi-billion dollar global supplier. In 2011, he founded Osprey Capital to provide private investment and advisory services, later serving as Chairman of Noranco and joining the executive board of ATL Partners in 2015. Baughan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. His current focus centers on advancing commercial aerospace, industrial manufacturing, and Advanced Air Mobility technologies, including drones and eVTOL systems.
