Micah Siegel is the Sole Managing Director of C2C Ventures and a Consulting Professor at Stanford University, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He holds a doctorate in Engineering and Applied Science from the California Institute of Technology and a degree from Yale University, beginning his career in 1993 developing early artificial intelligence systems alongside Carver Mead. Joining the Stanford faculty in 2006, Siegel taught graduate engineering courses until 2013, mentoring students who subsequently founded prominent technology companies including Gusto and Notion. As an early stage venture capitalist, he provided initial funding for startups that later achieved significant exits, such as Pulse, which LinkedIn acquired for $90 million, and Katango, which was purchased by Google. His current investment strategy focuses on commercializing foundational technologies across computational biology, enterprise software, and scientific instrumentation at the pre-company stage.
