Mershad Javan is a Venture Partner at Privilège Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm investing across multiple technology sectors. Before transitioning to venture capital, he founded the music distribution platform MondoTunes, which he successfully sold, repurchased, and sold a second time before serving as Head of Europe at GoDigital. Javan initially began his professional career as a touring musician and subsequently earned an Executive MBA in International Business from California State University. In his current investment role, he targets early-stage opportunities in HealthTech, CleanTech, AgriFoodTech, med-tech, wearables, and information and communication technology. He supports a Privilège Ventures portfolio that features notable exits like Deliveroo and Creoptix, alongside active investments in medical technology developers like Distalmotion. Javan currently leverages his extensive operational background to provide strategic board-level guidance and mentorship to emerging technology company founders.
