Merline Saintil

Merline Saintil is an Operating Partner at DCVC and Lead Independent Director at Rocket Lab, based in Silicon Valley, USA. Over a 20-year career, she has held executive engineering and operations roles at major technology firms, serving as Head of Operations for Product and Technology at Intuit and Head of Operations for Mobile and Emerging Products at Yahoo. Saintil has guided six companies through initial public offerings as both an operator and a board member, currently holding directorships at GitLab, TD SYNNEX, and Symbotic. She earned a master's degree in software engineering management from Carnegie Mellon University and co-founded Black Women on Boards to advance executive diversity. Her current focus centers on advising and investing in over 30 early-stage startups across enterprise technology, artificial intelligence, and deep tech through her firm A10L Ventures.
