Meltem Demirors

Meltem Demirors is the Chief Strategy Officer at CoinShares, a publicly listed digital asset investment firm managing over $5 billion in assets, and is currently based in Lisbon, Portugal. Previously, she served as the Chief Investment Officer at Digital Currency Group from 2017 to 2020, following early corporate financial services roles at Morgan Stanley and Deloitte. As an active cryptocurrency investor, she has personally backed more than 50 blockchain projects and joined the board of directors for the Blockchain Association in late 2024. Under her strategic direction, CoinShares reported total assets under management growing to $6 billion in early 2026 amid increased Bitcoin exchange-traded fund inflows. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Cornell University, Demirors maintains a primary professional focus on bridging traditional capital markets with decentralized finance and Web3 technologies.
