Melissa Withers

Melissa Withers is the Managing Partner at RevUp Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York City, New York. In this role, she oversees a portfolio of more than 20 companies and manages over $50 million in assets, recently closing the firm's $35 million second fund in March 2025. Prior to establishing her current fund, Withers co-founded startups in the fintech and consumer goods sectors and earned degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia Business School. She is a frequent speaker at industry events hosted by Techstars and 500 Global, and she recently led a Q1 2026 investment in an AI-driven consumer health platform. Her current investment strategy centers on pre-seed and seed-stage consumer tech, fintech, and healthtech startups, with a specific emphasis on supporting underrepresented founders in emerging markets.
