Melina Petsolari

Melina Petsolari is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at ACX Therapeutics, a Y Combinator-backed biotechnology company based in New York. In this role, she directs the hardware and software development of next-generation biocides designed for sustainable agriculture applications. Prior to launching ACX, Petsolari held research positions spanning artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital health across prominent institutions including Cambridge University, the Francis Crick Institute, and NHS England. She earned a PhD in Computer Science from King's College London, where she authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and received academic awards for her work in human-computer interaction and natural language processing. Additionally, she has contributed to technology-enabled interventions that integrate advanced machine learning models into clinical research environments. Her current focus centers on bridging computer science and biological sciences to engineer scalable solutions for the agricultural sector.
