Melanie Hayes

Melanie Hayes is the Managing Partner at Bethnal Green Ventures in London, England, United Kingdom, where she oversees early-stage impact investments in technology companies. With 15 years of experience in venture capital, she has led more than 100 transactions totaling over £75 million in capital deployed to support founders on business strategy and growth. Before joining Bethnal Green Ventures, Hayes served as an Investment Manager at Octopus Investments between 2011 and 2013, and held earlier corporate roles at Channel 4 and Deloitte. She currently sits on the boards of three growth stage portfolio companies, serves as a director at BGV WorkerTech Ltd, and is a member of the ReGenerate Advisory Council.
