Melania Edwards

Melania Edwards is the Director of Investor Relations for the HSBC Venture Capital group, currently based in San Francisco, California. In this capacity, she facilitates strategic connections between venture-backed technology companies and institutional investors while leveraging the financial institution's global capabilities. Prior to her current position, Edwards served as an International Manager for HSBC, where she executed global finance operations across diverse markets in Europe, Asia, and the United States. Her academic background includes a Master's degree in Economics and Management from Oxford University, having matriculated at the historic Hertford College in 2006. Beyond her primary corporate responsibilities, Edwards actively mentors early-stage technology startups navigating the venture ecosystem.
