Mehran Zaker

Mehran Zaker is a Partner and Head of Automation and Industrial IT at Emerald Technology Ventures, based in Zurich, Switzerland. In this role, he guides technology investments from origination to exit for a venture capital firm that currently manages and advises over one billion euros in assets. Before joining Emerald, Zaker worked as a global product manager at Hilti AG, where he directed product strategies for power tools and corporate digital transformation initiatives. Previously, he served as a software developer and project leader at Valeo France, contributing directly to the development of electric vehicles and autonomous driving systems. Zaker holds an electronics engineering degree from ENSEA and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD. His current venture capital investment focus centers entirely on industrial artificial intelligence, autonomous robotics, machine vision, and advanced mobility technologies.
