Meghan Moreland

Meghan Moreland is a Principal at Riot Ventures based in Los Angeles, California, where she focuses on deep tech and infrastructure modernization investments. Since joining the firm in May 2022, she has sourced and led pre-seed to growth-stage investments in hardware, robotics, and artificial intelligence companies such as Integrate, Nodal, and STOR. Prior to Riot Ventures, Moreland served as an investor at B Capital Group, leading investments in enterprise software and industrial startups including Clari, Kandji, OwnBackup, and Comparably, which was later acquired by ZoomInfo. She began her financial career at J.P. Morgan, graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, and currently leads the ambassador board for the 9 Dots non-profit organization. Her current investment focus centers on applying advanced cybersecurity and aerospace technologies to transform critical industrial and defense infrastructure.
