Megan Cain

Megan Cain is a Principal at The Westly Group, an early-stage venture capital firm, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to her current role, she worked in the Global Power, Utilities, and Clean Technology Investment Banking division at Morgan Stanley, advising corporate clients on mergers, acquisitions, and initial public offerings. Her earlier financial career includes managing hedge fund relationships within the Prime Brokerage group at Goldman Sachs, serving as a Product Manager at the New York Stock Exchange, and investing for a social impact venture fund. Cain earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering before completing a Master of Business Administration at the Yale School of Management. In her present capacity, she primarily focuses on evaluating new early-stage venture investments and actively managing portfolio companies across three core sectors: technology, clean energy, and utilities.
