Medha Agarwal

Medha Agarwal is a General Partner at the early-stage venture capital firm Defy.vc, based in San Francisco, California. Prior to joining the firm in November 2023 to deploy capital from its $300 million Fund III, she spent seven years operating as a Partner at Redpoint Ventures. During her tenure at Redpoint, she led early-stage investments and served on the boards of various technology startups, including the livestream shopping platform Whatnot, Proper Finance, and the dental service organization Tend. Her earlier professional background includes institutional investing at Bessemer Venture Partners, management consulting at Bain & Company, and entrepreneurial experience founding the two software companies skedge.me and Roomidex. As an operator-turned-investor, Agarwal currently focuses on providing day-zero capital and strategic support to founders building companies across the financial technology, vertical software, marketplace, healthcare, and artificial intelligence sectors.
