Maxson Tee

Maxson Tee currently serves as the Principal of Innovation, Investment, and Partnership at BNY Mellon, where he advises executive leadership on strategic decisions and executes early-stage corporate startup investments. Prior to joining the firm, he spent three years developing and shipping novel technology products for several of the top ten global banks. As an entrepreneur, Tee previously co-founded a financial technology startup that established a strategic partnership with The World Bank to deliver specialized services to rural smallholder farmers. Alongside his primary corporate responsibilities, he evaluates early-stage ventures as a Scout for Founders Factory and holds a Master of Science in Engineering with Finance from University College London. His current professional focus centers on analyzing emerging consumer technology trends, identifying new business development opportunities, and pursuing venture capital investments that offer asymmetrical returns.
