Maximiliano Casal

Maximiliano Casal is a tech entrepreneur and the former Chief Operating Officer of Nowports, currently based in Miami, Florida. He co-founded the digital freight forwarding platform to digitize Latin American supply chains, helping the startup scale its operations to manage thousands of shipments annually across more than 50 countries. During his executive tenure as COO, Casal guided Nowports through significant corporate growth, securing over $50 million in venture funding from prominent investment firms including Kaszek Ventures, Monashees, and ALLVP. Prior to building this international logistics venture, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires. After stepping down from his daily operational role at Nowports, he remains an active voice in the industry. Casal's professional background centers on leveraging software engineering to modernize global trade, with a continuing focus on supply chain technology.
