Maxime Agostini

Maxime Agostini is the cofounder and CEO of Sarus, a B2B data analytics and privacy company based in Paris, France. Founded in 2020 and backed by Y Combinator's Winter 2022 batch, Sarus currently operates with approximately 16 employees to integrate privacy protections directly into modern data infrastructures. Prior to this role, Agostini cofounded and served as CEO of AlephD, a machine learning startup focused on publisher advertising monetization that he scaled to a 20-person team before leading its acquisition by Verizon Media in 2016. He holds a degree in computer science and physics from Ecole Polytechnique, where he initially developed his foundational technical expertise in complex data systems. As a repeat technology entrepreneur, Agostini maintains a primary professional focus on developing secure data governance frameworks and advancing applied machine learning within modern enterprise environments.
