Maxim Owen

Maxim Owen is a Partner at Wavemaker Three-Sixty Health, operating out of New York, New York. Prior to his current role, he led the Ventures team at StartUpHealth, executing investments into more than 100 early-stage healthcare companies. He previously built and directed venture investments for a prominent New York family office focused on impact sectors. Owen began his career as a global macro investor at Schroders Investment Management, helping manage a $30 billion portfolio within the institution's $600 billion in total assets under management. As a Chartered Financial Analyst with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the London School of Economics, Owen has built a venture portfolio that includes notable digital health companies such as Cityblock. Today, his primary focus remains on seed-stage, non-bio healthcare technology investments, specifically supporting international startups expanding into the United States market.
